CASTRVM - Ashcan Version

CASTRVM is a soon-to-be-released tabletop role-playing game set in an even darker and deadlier version of Ancient Rome, designed as a hack of the acclaimed Mörk Borg system and using the Mörk Borg Third Party Game License. This game plunges players into a gritty, high-stakes environment where survival is uncertain and death is a constant companion. 

Built on the rules-light framework of Mork Borg,  CASTRVM offers a streamlined, intuitive experience that’s easy to pick up and play, even for those new to tabletop RPGs. 

Character creation is quick and straightforward, getting you into the heart of the action with minimal delay. Classes are entirely optional and the mechanics are designed so as to enable fast-paced gameplay that captures the brutal and unforgiving nature of ancient Rome.

As this is the ashcan version of the game, we heavily encourage readers to consult the BARE BONES edition of MÖRK BORG graciously made available by the original authors in order to have a fuller grasp of the ruleset. This document only includes select core rules and cannot cover everything.
